Il confanetto racchiude i 5 album più importanti e apprezzatti della carriera di Jackson, ovvero Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous e Invincible. Curiosamente manca HIStory (rispettivamente il 5 più famoso della discografia del cantante), sostituito dal più recente Invincible. Pubblicato pochi giorni dopo la morte del cantante, The Collections ha raggiunto immediatamente le vette delle classifiche vendendo più di 1 milione di copie.
Questa raccolta venne pubblicata 5 giorni prima della morte del cantante, avvenuta il 25 giugno 2009.

cera uno scaffale intero pieno zeppo di roba su michael..
solo dangerous costava 26 euro!!
è unfurto!! fino a maggio costava 10 euro!
è come use your illusion dei guns..che ora costa 10 euro.. se muore axl lo portano a 30 euro... e considera che sono due volumi..quindi almeno 50 euro!!

io i cd li ho trovati anche a 6 euro...History costava 24 ma gli altri dai 6 ai 10 euro...
