And the actors sported quite the smiles on set while 48-year-old star Jamie, who wrote and is directing the comedy flick, was in the zone.

The story revolves around two tow-truck drivers, played by Jeremy, 51, and Jamie, who are die-hard basketball fans. They happen to get a break from their job to attend the NBA All-Star game.
Given the jerseys that each actor was wearing on set, Jamie's character in the movie worships LeBron James as he wore a green, Irish 23 basketball jersey while Jeremy wore a Steph Curry one.
Robert, 51, donned a disguise on set wearing a flannel shirt, cowboy boots and a hat on top of his long hair while driving a red Pontiac with an Indiana license plate.

The movie also stars Jessica Szohr, who plays the girlfriend of Entourage actor, as well as Eva Longoria, a beautiful and mysterious character who they run into along the way.
Production began two weeks ago, and there are already implications of a slew of guest stars who will appear in the film including DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg, The Game and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
TMZ caught up with Jamie after Drake's birthday party in October where the Django Unchained star revealed French Montana is also in the film as well as speculation about LeBron and Steph themselves.
This is the singer's major directorial debut, and a project he has been planning for over four years.
Speaking to BET in an interview in 2012, the father-of-two said: 'Oh yeah, I got a film I want to direct...It's about two guys, one guy loves Kobe Bryant while the other guy loves LeBorn James. When you talk about LeBron and Kobe, it's like talking about Republican and Democrat. It is all the way out there funny.'
It is also produced under Jamie's production company, Foxx-King Entertainment, which launched in 2011.

Sono anni che All-Star Weekend, l’esordio alla regia di Jamie Foxx, non riesce a vedere la luce. Il motivo, stando all’attore, è che il pubblico non è pronto per una commedia simile, girata nel 2016 con un cast composto da Jeremy Piven, Robert Downey Jr., Benicio del Toro, Gerard Butler e Eva Longoria.
Nel film Foxx e Piven interpretano due migliori amici che vincono dei biglietti per un grosso evento annuale dell’NBA e così si mettono in viaggio verso Los Angeles per partecipare all’All-Star Game, ma sul loro sentiero finiscono una serie di personaggi bizzarri.

Downey Jr. aveva preso ispirazione dal lavoro fatto con Tropic Thunder interpretando un uomo messicano, mentre Foxx aveva interpretato svariati ruoli, tra cui un poliziotto bianco razzista.
Nel 2017 Foxx aveva difeso la scelta di scritturare Robert Downey Jr., mentre lo scorso maggio Jeremy Piven aveva annunciato che i fan non avrebbero mai visto il film perché “Jamie non vuole distribuirlo“.
